U6 made longest flight at glide ratio competition 2013

The on January 13 held their annual Gleitwinkelfliegen. A strong field of 45 pilots launched from Oiga and flew in the direction of St. Peter. The ideal flight conditions promised good results. Walter Elsner with his U6 flew the longest distance of 4.74 kilometers. Amazing that a competition wing from 2011 still can outperform current competition wings. Congratulations to Walter for this impressive success. By the way, the resulting glide ratio of the U6 is calculated at 13.03!
